What is the STAR method?
STAR stands for Situation, Task, Action, Result. It's one of the most widely recognized frameworks for answering behavioral interview questions — explicitly recommended by employers like Amazon and grounded in decades of behavioral science research. StarPrepare automatically structures your real experiences into this format.
Do I need to upload my resume?
No. You can create a Quick Profile with a brief description of your background and role. However, uploading your full resume gives StarPrepare significantly more context — the richer your profile, the more specific and compelling your STAR answers will be.
Is my resume data stored?
Yes. Your resume text is stored in your account so you can reuse it across sessions without re-uploading. You can delete your resume at any time from within the app. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data retention and usage.
How are credits used?
Each AI generation costs 1 credit. You get free credits when you sign up. Need more? Purchase one-time credit packs (500, 2,000, 5,000, or 12,000 credits) or subscribe to automatically receive credits each period — weekly (50 credits), monthly (125 credits), or yearly (1,000 credits) plans available.
Can I revise my answers?
Yes. Give feedback like "make it more concise" or "add specific metrics" and StarPrepare will refine your answer. Each revision uses 1 credit — revise as many times as you need to get it right.
What types of questions can I practice?
